For 1 4 veneer panels you can put an 1 line of glue in the center of the top and bottom of the panel before you assemble.
Jim hager a cheap easy and effective trick is to take flat tooth picks dip the end in glue and force it in between the panel and the rails or styles then break off the excess.
I don t have the money right now to replace them and they are only 5 years old.
