Common causes are the oil pan drain plug oil filter or gasket or oil spilled on the frame while replacing the oil filter. There should be no fluid in this area if the drain cock is working properly. Clear and thin with the distinct pungent odor of gasoline. The plug is leaking even though it is fully closed.

I asked the dealership for a replacement part however it appears that the petcock is attached to the radiator and can not be replaced. After flushing the coolant the coolant is now leaking from the radiator drain plug.
